The Directorate General of Migration Management recently launched a new Communication Center
For Foreigners. The new center will act as a "helpline" for foreigners with migration issues. Those needing assistance can dial 157 or +90 312 157 11 22 from outside of Turkey, and be connected directly with an English speaking representative.
The center will provide support for a range of migration enquires, including; rights& liabilities for foreigners in Turkey, Turkish Residence Permit queries, illegal stay etc. The new helpline boasts 4 languages; Turkish, English, Arabic, Russian and is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
